Stippends Late again and again and again????

It is a strange one. Look at the Linden Blog and search Stipend. 5 Months this seems to have been an issue and it still is. Seems that it is the beginning of the month and the end of the month that is especially hard on the system. Also noteworthy Cyn posted twice about it and since then it has been a different linden each time. All very odd.

We auctioned and we raised 122,000 Linden

Another year another auction. Thank you all you generous and wicked people. We put together 122,000 lindens or roughtly 444$USD. Gone are the days where you could get a goodly slave for 2,000 lindens. Now they are commanding serious prices.

I guess it is supply and demand. There is a demand for bratty slaves.

Thank you one and all. :-)
Not feeling well. Breasts anywhere?

Found :)

Staring at women’s breast is good for men’s health and makes them live longer, a new study reveals.

Researchers have discovered that a 10-minute ogle at women’s breasts is as healthy as half-an-hour in the gym.

A five-year study of 200 men found that those who enjoyed a longing
look at busty beauties had lower blood pressure, less heart disease and
slower pulse rates compared to those who did not get their daily eyeful.

Dr Kren Weatherby, who carried out the German study, wrote in the
New England Journal of Medicin: “Just 10 minutes of staring at the
charms of a well endowed female is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute
arobics workout.”

“Sexual excitement gets the heart pumping and improves blood circulation.”

“There is no question that gazing at breasts makes men healthier.”

“Out Study indiciates that engaging in this activity a few minutes daily cuts the risk of a stroke and heart attack in half.”

“We believe that by doing so consistently, the average man can extend his life four to five years.”

Verification is here. Doesn't work.....

They told us it was comming and now it is here. Verification. The system was announced in an email to all conciage users (Those who own part or all of a sim) and thier accounts on the web now have an entry for Age Verification. The company that provides this service is aptly named Integrity which it is seriously lacking.

Their other working example is but.tv and it is easy to see that any name and information will get through as long as it is above 21 years. It would appear that the SecondLife system is just the same. It asks for a lot mroe data. Address, ID to use and it's number save SSN where they only ask for last digits.

Useing false data it is fairly easy to verify. The system is flawed and can not verify the population of the world.
They don't have the data on all of us to check against. I am pretty
sure that they don't even have all Americans. What happens then? The
system accepts the entry. They just approve your data because you are
an upright person and wouldn't dare to give false data. Nicest fishing
campaign out.

LindenLabs is only told by Integrity that hey user XXX is verified and
have no way of back tracking it. If Integrity is not keeping the data
as they say then there is no link back at all. Yes you were verified,
they don't know what was used and have no way of ensuring that the ID
was even real.

But I honestly doubt that is really true. Once in their system it is
there. 2008 election are comming up a soon and there is a lot of money
out there to buy voter lists/profiles. How better to augment that data
with some that folks kindly entered.

Verification will initially be free; as we roll out the system we
expect there to be a nominal fee for Premium members, and a larger fee
for people with Basic memberships.
